TSMU delegation participated in the science festival -Young Scientists for a Better Future of the Planet

On October 18, 2024, a delegation from Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) participated in the science festival "Young Scientists for a Better Future of the Planet," supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and organized by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Professor Shalva Zarnadze, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Associate Professor Irina Zarnadze and TSMU students Lado Gabechava, Salome Shalikashvili, Salome Bakhtadze, and Giorgi Mirianashvili presented a TSMU pavilion.

Moreover, within the framework of the festival, an international scientific conference "The Black Sea Region at the Crossroads of Civilizations III” was held. The aim of the festival was to promote science, engage youth in scientific research, and increase their involvement in innovative activities. The conference was co-organized by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, the Niko Berdzenishvili Research Institute, the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, the Romanian Academy of Sciences, and Ovidius University of Constanța.
