From February 3 to 7, 2025, Tbilisi State Medical University hosted Associate Professors Adina Stoian and Enikő Nemes-Nagy from the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures (Romania).
The guests together with Professor Tamar Didbaridze Department of Microbiology of TSMU visited the Ken Walker Medical Rehabilitation University Clinic, where they observed neurological-rehabilitation research involving both adult and pediatric patients.
The Romanian professors also met with Professor Maia Beridze, Head of the Neurology Department of TSMU, to discuss modern research and treatment methods implemented in the department. Additionally, Professors Adina Stoian and Enikő Nemes-Nagy visited the laboratory of the First University Clinic of TSMU, where they focused on the latest advancements in the diagnosis and study of neurological diseases.
On February 7, the visiting professors conducted a training session for TSMU doctoral students "Fundamental Aspects and Methodology of Scientific Research Design."
The visit was part of the inter-institutional collaboration between Tbilisi State Medical University and the University of Târgu Mureș, supported by the Erasmus+ KA 171 project.
