Tbilisi State Medical University hosted its traditional Student Conference on Surgical Case Reports, an annual academic event organized by the Theodor Billroth Surgical Association and the Scientific Association "Endeavor".

This year’s conference was held in memory of Professor Davit Khazaradze, a distinguished surgeon and esteemed faculty member of TSMU, marking one year since his passing.

The primary goal of the conference is to foster the development of practical and analytical skills among medical students. Alongside students from TSMU, participants from various other universities also took part, creating a valuable platform for sharing clinical experiences and promoting professional collaboration among future healthcare professionals.

Participants presented real-life surgical cases they had observed and analyzed in clinical settings, guided and supervised by academic mentors. These presentations demonstrated students’ abilities to observe, document, and critically evaluate complex medical cases.

A panel of professors from TSMU evaluated the presented works. The best speaker received a diploma and commemorative gifts in recognition of their excellence.
