Tbilisi State Medical University took part in the scientific conference “The Black Sea Region at the Crossroads of Civilizations” and the Science Festival “Blue Policy of the Maritime Country”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

The TSMU delegation was led by Professor Shalva (David) Zarnadze, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, and included Associate Professor Irine Zarnadze, as well as students Lado Gabechava and Tsitsi Papunashvili.

As part of the events, TSMU organized an educational quiz involving students from various universities and school pupils, which generated strong interest among young participants. Winners received certificates and commemorative prizes.

The administration of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University expressed special gratitude to TSMU, presenting an official letter of appreciation for its long-standing active engagement in both scientific and educational initiatives.
