The
construction of the Mental Health University Clinic has been completed and the
clinic is currently in the technical equipment installation phase.
The clinic
is in Vashlijvari, 17 Sarajishvili Street.
The main inpatient
facility of the clinic is designed for 103 beds, divided into three primary
inpatient departments:
- Acute Psychiatric Inpatient
Department
- Dual Diagnosis Department
- Addiction Detoxification
Department
Additionally,
the clinic will include a rehabilitation department with 30 beds.
The university
clinic is designed to provide ambulatory, extended ambulatory (day center),
supportive rehabilitation (day center–inpatient) and short-term inpatient
services across all profiles of mental, behavioral and addiction disorders
management and treatment.
The clinic
will employ over 100 specialists.
The clinic
will also include Department of Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine of TSMU, with
provisions for lecture halls, classrooms, and supporting educational infrastructure.
The educational facilities are designed to accommodate more than 150 students
simultaneously for academic activities.

University Mental Health Clinic is expected to begin patient admissions in
