Tbilisi State Medical University hosted a delegation from the Chirchiq Branch of Tashkent State Medical University (Uzbekistan). Within the framework of the visit, the parties discussed prospects for the development of cooperation.

The Uzbek delegation delivered a comprehensive presentation of their university, providing detailed information on educational opportunities, student admission systems, funding models, university infrastructure and other key institutional matters.

During the discussions, the representatives from Uzbekistan expressed a strong interest in expanding bilateral ties. In this context, particular emphasis was placed on enhancing academic mobility, developing exchange programmes for students and young specialists and establishing formal internship opportunities.
