A large-scale international scientific and educational conference, “Mastering Ophthalmology,” was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. The event was organized by the Eye Clinic Akhali Mzera (“New Vision”) and brought together leading Georgian and international specialists in the field of ophthalmology.

The primary aim of the conference was to share the latest scientific advancements and clinical experience in modern ophthalmology. Particular emphasis was placed on innovative diagnostic and surgical techniques, the use of high-tech equipment, and contemporary standards of patient-centered care.

The programme included thematic presentations, analysis of clinical cases, and professional discussions. Participants had the opportunity to gain detailed insights into modern technologies implemented in real clinical practice and to assess their effectiveness. Surgical techniques and current trends in ophthalmology were also extensively discussed.

Specialists from Georgia, Italy, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Switzerland participated in the conference and delivered presentations. The meeting was conducted in an interactive format and included Q&A sessions, enabling attendees to engage directly with experts and exchange professional perspectives.
