The Doctoral Students’ Scientific Conference was opened by Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University. The TSMU rector noted that the conference is being organized for the second time. As the university places particular emphasis on enhancing the quality of doctoral research.

 “The conference continues to improve in quality each year and an evaluation committee has now been introduced. Enhancing the quality of doctoral research remains a key priority of the university. The conference provides doctoral students with the opportunity to present their work at an intermediate stage and receive formative feedback to support the successful completion of their studies.,” stated Irakli Natroshvili.

Within the framework of the conference, doctoral candidates of Tbilisi State Medical University delivered oral presentations on a range of contemporary scientific topics. The second part of the conference was dedicated to poster sessions, where participants visually presented their research findings and engaged in discussions with members of the academic community.

The event was attended by Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Sophia Bakhtadze, Vice-Rector of TSMU as well as academic and administrative staff of the University and doctoral students.
