Tbilisi State Medical University hosted representatives of Erasmus University Rotterdam within the framework of the Erasmus+ K171 International Credit Mobility Project.

The project, which has been successfully implemented through the partnership between TSMU and Erasmus University Rotterdam, includes a series of educational and practical training activities designed for TSMU students, academic staff, and representatives of the university clinic.

The three-day training programme covered a range of important topics, including emergency care management using the ABCDE approach and intercultural communication. The sessions were delivered by international trainers from Erasmus University Rotterdam, providing participants with valuable insights and practical expertise.

TSMU’s Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation Centre provided the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment to ensure the successful delivery of the training programme.

The Erasmus University Rotterdam delegation met with Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University and discussed prospects for collaboration. The guests expressed their sincere appreciation to the TSMU team for their professionalism, efficient organization, and warm hospitality throughout the project. Professor Irakli Natroshvili thanked the Erasmus University Rotterdam delegation for their visit, the high-quality training sessions, and their willingness to share expertise and best practices. He noted that cooperation within the Erasmus+ K171 framework provides a strong foundation for the development of new educational, research, and practical initiatives. The parties also discussed the possibility of establishing a broader collaborative project involving additional partner universities.
