Tbilisi State Medical University has launched its annual Summer Internship Program for students. The program runs from July 15 to August 1, with most of the clinical training taking place at TSMU’s university clinics. The program also involves the University’s partner healthcare institutions, providing students with diverse clinical learning environments.

This year, more than 100 TSMU students are participating in the internship. Throughout the program, they will engage in a wide range of hands-on clinical activities, strengthen their practical clinical competencies, participate in patient care and disease management processes, and further develop their communication and teamwork skills in real healthcare settings.

TSMU first introduced its Summer Internship Program in 2012. Owing to its success and the consistently high level of student interest, the initiative has become an annual tradition, offering students a valuable opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience in authentic clinical settings.
