On January 20, 2025, the Department of Public Health, Management, Policy, and Economics of Tbilisi State Medical University hosted the traditional scientific conference: "Sociology in Healthcare." Participants presented research addressing youth-related issues and health risk factors.

Students from the Georgian and English-language programs of the Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as the Faculty of Public Health, actively participated in the conference. At the conclusion of the event, Ivliane Surmava, President of the Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society awarded certificates to the participating students and their academic supervisors in recognition of their contributions.
