Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University and the TSMU delegation visited Batumi to participate in the 8th International Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Conference - Geoanesthesia 2025.

The multidisciplinary international forum, dedicated to issues in anesthesiology and intensive care, brought together anesthesiologists, intensivists, toxicologists and emergency medicine specialists. The participants discussed pressing topics in anesthesiology, resuscitation and pain management, exploring contemporary approaches and recent innovations in the field. The program of the conference included thematic sessions and symposia featuring leading experts from Georgia and abroad.

The event was attended by Mr. Mikheil Sarjveladze, Minister of Health of Georgia, Ms. Nino Nijaradze, Minister of Health of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, representatives of the medical sector, specialists from various disciplines and other invited guests.

The conference is organized annually by the Georgian Society of Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists with the support of Tbilisi State Medical University and Batumi State University.
