The Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation has awarded scholarships to four students of Tbilisi State Medical University and a special prize to one student. Professor Irakli Natrosvhili, Rector of TSMU, administrative staff, and students met with Levan Bekaia, founder of the organization, Goga Chanadiri, co-founder and project manager and Mariam Tsandishvili, communications manager.

“We have been cooperating with Tbilisi State Medical University for years and believe that this partnership will continue to grow. Students’ opinions, initiatives, and ideas are very important to us. The foundation’s mission is to support education, encourage and motivate successful students”, said Levan Bekaia, founder of the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation.

Professor Irakli Natrosvhili, Rector of TSMU, thanked the guests for four years of successful partnership and emphasized the importance of encouraging students in the learning process.

A Memorandum of Cooperation between TSMU and the Tamaz Bekaia Educational Foundation was signed four years ago. Since then, 21 TSMU students have become scholarship recipients, and 5 have been recognized as laureates.
