TSMU representatives at the 45th International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine

On March 17–20, 2026 Tbilisi State Medical University representatives took part in the 45th International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (ISICEM 2026), organized in Brussels (Belgium).

TSMU professors Levan Ratiani and Luiza Gabunia made a poster presentation: “Prognostic Value of IL-6 and sTREM-1 in Adult Patients with Sepsis and Septic Shock Compared to Standard Markers.”

In addition to their presentation, the TSMU delegation actively participated in the symposium’s scientific programme, engaging in professional and academic sessions, lectures, and discussions. The event provided a platform to explore the latest advancements, contemporary approaches, and key clinical challenges in the fields of intensive care and emergency medicine.

Participation in ISICEM 2026 reflects TSMU’s ongoing commitment to international scientific engagement and the advancement of research and clinical practice in critical care medicine.
