A series of faculty-level student scientific conferences was organized at Tbilisi State Medical University, with the aim of fostering student research activity and supporting the professional development of young researchers. The initiative provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their scientific interests, research competencies, and academic potential, as well as to present their work before a broader academic audience.
The conference program was diverse and interdisciplinary, encompassing presentations in theoretical and clinical medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Participants not only presented their research findings but also received professional feedback and recommendations from faculty members and field specialists.
The student scientific conference was structured into seven sections in total. In each section, three best participants were identified. In addition, within the Faculty of Medicine, five winners were selected in the Clinical Medicine section and five winners in the Theoretical Medicine section. These students subsequently participated in the university-level conference held on 24 June. At the university-level conference, one final winner was identified from each section. The award ceremony for the conference winners was held on 25 June at TSMU.
