Regulation of Culture Center of Tbilisi State Medical University 
 
1. General provision 

1.1 The Center is a structural unit of the Tbilisi State Medical University. It is under the direct supervision of the University, which is guided in its activities by the legislation of Georgia, the Law of Georgia on "Higher Education", internal legal acts of the University, this provision and other legislative and subordinate normative acts.
1.2 The location of the center is St. Tbilisi, 0186, Vazha-Pshavela Avenue N 33, 3rd building of TSSMU, 3rd floor, theatre hall, small theatre hall (with three rooms), two nearby rooms (director's office), hall on the 5th floor and the assembly hall on the 3rd floor in building I.

2. Center goals and objectives 
2.1. The aims of the center are: The study, development, promotion, and presentation of folklore, modern and classical choreography, folk and contemporary pop songs, folk (folk instruments) and classical music, theatre and other performing arts in TSMU, Georgia and overseas.
2.2. The center is involved in the following activities to achieve its goals and promote creative endeavours:- Creation of folklore, folk, modern, and classical choreography, folk and contemporary pop 
songs, folk (folk instruments) and classical music, theatre, and other performing arts studios, ensembles, and theaters. 
- Organization of performances in Georgia and abroad as impresarios. 
- Establishment of relationships with studios, ensembles, theaters, international organizations, UNESCO committees, and festivals in different countries.
- Organization and participation in congresses, conferences, committee meetings organized by UNESCO, and festivals in Georgia and abroad. 
- Establishment of contacts with individuals, sponsors, and organizations interested in the creative and cultural life of TSMU students. 
- Promotion of the creative activities of TSMU students in Georgia and abroad. 
- Representation of TSMU by establishing relationships with cultural centers of higher education institutions in Georgia and abroad, with UNESCO committees, and becoming a member of various UNESCO committees.
- Organization and participation in theater, ensembles, or other creative group competitions, as well as financing tour trips in Georgia and abroad through TSMU or a sponsor. 
- Invitation of qualified teachers, choreographers, directors, musicians, and others to work and present them to the Rector of TSMU for appointment for proper management of the educational process, consultation, and mutual sharing of experience.
- Establishment of relations with the ministries of culture and education, theatrical, choreographic, and other creative societies, associations, and organizations.
- Keep all video and audio recordings. 
2.3. The centre's main material and technical base is located in the 3rd building of TSMU. It includes the 3rd-floor theatre hall, a small theatre hall with 3 rooms, two adjacent rooms (director's office), the hall on the 5th floor, and the Assembly hall on the 3rd floor of the 1st building.

3. Organization of the teaching process 
3.1. Ensembles, theatres, and creative groups of the centre accept new members after they have successfully completed the selective program. 
3.2. The director has the authority to invite other individuals (representatives from younger or older generations, individuals with student status) to join the ensembles during periods of low membership or to enhance the creative process, provided they meet the center's criteria and engage in creative activities solely on behalf of TSMU.

4. The Center's management and staff 
1. The university's rector appoints the director (artistic director) of the center to oversee the center's activities. 
2. The director is responsible for safeguarding the interests and reputation of TSMU. 
3. The director is responsible for providing adequate working and training (rehearsal) conditions for the staff, ensuring a sanitary and hygienic environment, compliance with labor protection regulations and safety equipment and utilizing the financial and material resources available at the university. 
4. The center's staff consists of individuals appointed by the main staff unit based on a contract. The Rector appoints them upon the director's recommendation, and the Rector can dismiss them.

5. Income of the Center 
5.1 The centre's income includes revenue from current activities and other permissible sources as defined by prevailing legislation.

6. Property of the Center 
6.1 The centre's property belongs to TSMU and has been transferred to the center with the right of use and management.
6.2 Matters related to the center's property and income between the center and TSMU shall be governed by applicable law and this provision. 

7. Final Part of the Provision 
7.1 The Representative Council approves the regulation upon the presentation of the center's director.
7.2 Cancellation of the provision, making changes, and additions to it are carried out according to the established procedure for adopting the provision.
7.3 Reorganization or liquidation of the center is carried out based on applicable legislation
