Main Functions:
1. To develop and implement a strategic plan for the development and implementation of information technologies in accordance with international standards and jointly with the university administration,
2. Designing and installation of material and technical base, installation of commercial and free software necessary for ensuring its uninterrupted and smooth operation;
3. Elimination of software errors, modernization of computer hardware, repairing and ensuring provision of proper functioning the internet domain, domain names and other services;
4. Creation and development of IT infrastructure, designing new university management IT systems and integrating them with the existing ones to ensure a better accessibility and provision of effective statistics and safety;
5. Elaboration of recommendations for the purchasing computer-based training programs;
6. Assisting the university academic personnel in creating original electronic teaching materials, adapting foreign materials (with copyright protection), converting existing study materials from the traditional to electronic format, integrating information technologies in curriculum;
7. Purchasing, installation, maintenance and renewal of computer hardware, network equipment or other office equipment.
8. Running electronic software system, administration and development of the University databases (LMS; electronic journal; online registration form for residents; examination center electronic software; students’ financial accounting software and salaries accounting software system).
