Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics and Georgian Society of Medical Genetics and Epigenetics will hold conference, dedicated to the International Rare Disease Day, which will be held on February 28, 15:00, at the TSMU administrative building rector’s hall.
The conference will cover current issues related to rare diseases, including necessity and availability of diagnosis and treatment, current research projects and clinical studies. Within the frames of the conference the winner of the students’ essay contest: “Biomarkers in the diagnosis of rare diseases” will be announced. The contest winner will receive full scholarship from CENTOGENE AG to attend the are disease conference – Recent Advances in Rare Diseases (RARD) in Bogota (Columbia) on June 20-22, 2019. All participant students will receive certificates of participation.
