Georgian medical students association (GMSA) is taking on a new large-scale project “InSimu Virtual Patient” which will involve several medical universities and faculties throughout the country.
InSimu is a mobile app that gives you the opportunity to work with virtual patients and take the role of a doctor.
The first step of a project consists of a competition within the universities, which will reveal 10 students with highest scores (those who will reach a diagnosis in the shortest time possible, using the cheapest and noninvasive diagnostic tests) from each university. It will be held in : Tbilisi State Medical University(TSMU), Tbilisi State University(TSA), David Tvildiani Medical University(DTMU), Tbilisi Medical Academy(TMA), European University(EU), David Agmashenebeli University-SDASU and New Vision University(NVU)
The next step is a final round, which will reveal 3 winners in total from those who were chosen in the first part of the competition.
The results will be uploaded to a database to which access is limited and this precludes the possibility of changing/forging the data.

● TSMU: InSimu presentation: 25th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
● DTMU: InSimu presentation: 26th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
● TMA: InSimu presentation: 27th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
● EU: InSimu presentation: 28th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
● SDASU: InSimu presentation: 28th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
● TSU: InSimu presentation: 28th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
● New Vision: InSimu presentation: 29th March. 1st round of the competition: 1, 2, 3 april.
Students who will compete in the final round will be announced on April 5.
Final round will take place in TSMU on April 8 and 9.
The award ceremony will be held on April 15 at TSMU administrative building, rector hall.
