Attention for the Tbilisi State Medical University students and academic staff!

1. From March 1, 2021 according to the instructions/recommendations of Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia TSMU will follow the following instructions:

i) Teaching process at the bachelor’s and one-cycle programs will be conducted in non-distance teaching mode, except of the lecture component and theoretical modules of the Georgian-instructed programs, where the teaching process will be conducted online till March 15.

ii) From March 15, 2021, the teaching process for the theoretical courses / modules of Georgian-instructed language programs will be carried out based on the decision made by the relevant faculty councils by March 4, 2021.

2. From March 1 to March 15, 2020-2021 academic year fall semester practical/laboratory/clinical components will be provided in non-distance mode. The quality of conducted components is the responsibility of the faculty deans and heads of the teaching departments.

3. A student will not be admitted to the exam without passing the practical / laboratory / clinical component provided for the 2020-2021 academic year fall semester.

4. From March 1, 2021 exams will be conducted in non-distance mode.

5. Due to the pandemic, at the quarantine clinics in particular, at the Phthisiatry, Psychiatry, Narcology, Infectious Diseases and Child Infectious Diseases departments the teaching process will be carried out online.
