“Georgia - German Relations from the Past to the Future”

Within the confines of 2017 jubilee year of Georgia-Germany relationships Tbilisi State Medical University is conducting the international conference-“Georgia - German Relations from the Past to the Future”.
The conference is dedicated to Tbilisi State Medical University's close, extensive and fruitful cooperation with German universities and clinics.
German and Gergian doctors and professors who work in Germany do many important things for Georgia. With their support, the students of Tbilisi State Medical University and young specialists receive education and do an internship in Germany, which has a great significance for their professional growth.
German professors regularly and selfessly work in Georgia – hold lectures, conduct master classes, medical consultations, surgical operations.
The first day of the conference will be a ceremonial opening where a bilingual documentary film will be shown, aiming to reflect the 200-year relations between Georgia-Germany medical community in the historical context.
On the second day of the conference, relevant issues of modern medicine will be discussed.
