On June 21, 2013 the administrative and academic boards’ joint meeting was held at Tbilisi State Medical University.

On the meeting Doctor of Medicine Giorgi Grigolia and Doctor of Medicine, Professor Florian Lohe were awarded by Honorary Doctorate Degrees. Giorgi Grigolia thanked to the academic board and mentioned that he would appreciate this honor and would much more support the partnership between Tbilisi State Medical University and the University of Munich. In his speech, Mr. Giorgi Grigolia also mentioned that he wanted to establish stipend named after his father, Professor Nodar Grigolia for a graduate student of the faculty of Medicine. He will personally pay the stipend for the graduate student, who will love the surgery as much as his father, Professor Nodar Grigolia loved it.
