The program initiated and financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, which includes the lectures of foreign professors is continuing at Tbilisi State Medical University.

On 17 – 21, 2013 the professors of Emory University School of Medicine (Atlanta, USA) paid an official visit to Tbilisi State Medical University.

The delegation of Emory University School of Medicine (Atlanta, USA) included: Professor Ken Walker (Internal Medicine), Professor Gordon Churchward (Medical Immunology and Microbiology), Professor Mary Jo Lechowitz (Medical Oncology), and Professor Archil Undilashvili (Public Health).

In the frames of the visit, the meeting about American MD program with university entrants was held. At the meeting American professors and Georgian students, who have just got back from Emory University School of Medicine shared their impressions and experience with the audience of the meeting.
