Indian Delegation official visit to Tbilisi State Medical University

On July 15, 2013 Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria met with the Delegation, which included the Representative of Ministry of External Affairs in Eurasia, Shri Ajay Bisaria, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India, Shri Suresh Babu, First Secretary of Embassy of India, Shri Pankaj Saxena, Attache Shri T.Ramesh and First Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of Georgia in Asia, Africa and Australia, Mr. Levan Machavariani.

The meeting was attended by the following representatives from TSMU: Deputy Rector, Professor Rima Beriashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Tinatin Chikovani, Head of the Department of Overseas Students Education, Professor Giorgi Giorgobiani, Deputy Head of International Relations Department, Irina Kapetivadze.

On the meeting, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University introduced the university traditions to the guests; he talked about the collaboration with the leader universities and the ongoing projects with them.

Georgian partners talked about Indian students and their involvement in educational projects and cultural activities.

The future collaboration was planned on the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Delegation met with Indian Students of Tbilisi State Medical University.
