On July 25, 2013 Tbilisi State Medical University hosted Delegation from Federal Republic of Nigeria, which included First Minister of External Affairs of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Viola Adaku Onwuliri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Ukraine and Georgia, His Excellency Mr. Frank Ngozi Isoh (Residency in Kiev, Ukraine), Senior Counselor of the Embassy, Ms. Ayo Luther-Ogbomode and Director of East and Central Europe Division of Ministry of External Affairs of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Aminu Modibo.

The meeting was attended by Counselor of the Department of Asia, Africa, Australia and Pacific Rim of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Rezo Babunashvili, Deputy Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Rima Beriashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Tina Chikovani, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department, Irina Kapetivadze and Head of Public Relations Office, Zaza Talakhadze.

On the meeting the guests were introduced to the traditions, educational programs and aspects of Overseas Student Education at Tbilisi State Medical University. On the meeting, they talked about the importance of the collaboration and sharing experience.
