On August 3, 2013 Director of Foreign Languages Center of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Manana Kutelia was officially invited to Innsbruck, Austria, where she met with Managing Director of Education Center  of Western Austria, Mr. Walter Draxl.

The meeting was attended by Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria and Alumna of Tbilisi State Medical University, Senior Doctor of Radiotherapy and Radioncology Department of Medical University of Innsbruck, Coordinator of future collaboration, Dr. Irma Kvitsaridze.

At the meeting the perspectives for collaboration and issues for the contract between Tbilisi State Medical University and Austria Education Center in accordance with Tyrolean Regional Government were discussed. According to the collaboration, the health care workers will be trained at Tbilisi State Medical University by Austrian program (including German language teaching and summer internships in Innsbruck clinics) and after the program accomplishment, they will be awarded by diplomas and will be employed in Austria.

After the meeting delegation members visited the campus of education center.
