In August 2013, nine students of the faculty of Medicine did the internship in Pleven Medical University, Bulgaria (Supervisor, Physiology Department Professor Giorgi Chichinadze).

Medical students on clinical rotations had their internships in the following departments: Hematology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Gynecology, Surgery and Gastroenterology. They also were doing some medical manipulations and participating in surgical operations.

At the end of the Summer Internship, the university academic and administrative staff expressed their positive attitude towards Georgian students and positive opinions about the future collaboration and joint projects.
