On July 26 to August 27, 2013 Tbilisi State Medical University high-ranking fourth and fifth year students of Tbilisi State Medical University did summer internship in the clinics of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in Rize (Turkey). The student’s group supervisor was specialist of TSMU Center of Clinical Skills, Doctor of Medicine, Mzia Tsiklauri.

Medical students on clinical rotations had their internships in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in the departments of Endocrinology, Cardiology, Surgery, Radiology, Neurology and Emergency from 9am to 5pm. Students also were visiting patients with professors, participating in operations, filling medical documents in English language and attending paraclinical investigations.

At the end of the visit, in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University academic and administrative staff expressed their positive attitude towards Georgian students and positive opinions about the future collaboration and joint projects.
