On September 12 - 14, 2013 Seminar on Endocrine Pathology and Neuropathology was organized by “Association of Pathologists and Cytologists of Georgia” and “Georgian Division of International Academy of Pathology” at Tbilisi State Medical University.

 The seminar was opened by Giorgi Burkadze, Professor of Department of Pathology and Cytopathology of TSMU. Deputy Rector of TSMU, Professor Rima Beriashvili and Head of Department of Pathology and Cytopathology, Professor Ramaz Chikhladze also greeted the audience.

Kontogeorgos (Greece) delivered the following lectures for academic staff of Tbilisi State Medical University:

• “Benign and malignant lesions of thyroid gland”.
• “Selected topic in neurolpatholgy”
• “Benign and malignant lesions of pituitary gland”
• “Benign and malignant lesions of adrenal gland”
• “Neuroendocrine toumors”

At the end of the event, the slide seminar was held about interesting case discussions.
