The 5th International Conference “Health and Ecology”

On September 13 – 15, 2013 the 5th International Conference “Health and Ecology” was held in Akhalstikhe. It was organized by the Faculty of Public Health of Tbilisi State Medical University and Medical Ecological Association and financially supported by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.

The conference was opened and attended by Scientific Head of the Conference, President of Medical Ecological Association, Associated Professor, MD, PhD, Marina Giorgobiani, Director of Disease Control Center, Amiran Gamkrelidze, and Center representative, Ramaz Urushadze, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Professor Aliosha Bakuridze, Project Coordinator, Chair of the Assembly fraction of Georgian Dream-Tbiliselebi", Guliko Zumbadze, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Professor Bidzina Zurashvili, Representatives of Georgian Oncoprevention Center, Professors Rema Ghvamichava and Mikheil Shavdia, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Dali Berashvili, Director of Institute of Labour Medicine and Ecology, Rusudan Javakhadze, Representatives from G. Conference Program Coordinator was Head of TSMU Biophysics Department, Professor Tamar Sanikidze.

The 5th International Conference “Health and Ecology” was attended by international invited lectors: Daniel J.
