From October 31 to November 4, 2013 Deputy Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University Mr. Giorgi Abesadze paid an official visit to Bhubaneswar, India, where the 4th Annual Convention of Eurasian Silk Road Universities Consortium (ESRUC) was held in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT). The theme of the 2013 Annual Convention was “Investigating the Social, Cultural and Global Issues along the Silk Road”.

On the convention Mr. Giorgi Abesadze made the presentation: “Piloting of Case Based Clinical Reasoning (CBCR) Course at Tbilisi State Medical University”.

Mr. Giorgi Abesadze and Rector of KIIT University, Professor Satyendra Patnaik singed the collaboration memorandum between the universities.

The next convention of Eurasian Silk Road Universities Consortium (ESRUC) will be held in July, 2014 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
