On November 11- 13, 2013 Head of Department of Pediatric Surgery, Dana Children's Hospital, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University (Israel), Member of Israel National Surgery Board, Professor Yitzhak Vinograd and Professor of Pediatrics of Children’s Hospital of University of Bonn, Emeritus, Professor Michael Lentze visited to Tbilisi State Medical University.

In the university clinic Professor Yitzhak Vinograd performed 5 complex operations:

“Plastic surgery in atresia of the anus”
“Surgery for Hirschsprung's Disease”
“Radical Surgery - Colostomy Closure” - 3 operations

Since 2000 Professor Yitzhak Vinograd has twelve times visited to Georgia and performed about sixty operations with Georgian colleagues.

Professor Michael Lentze is working in almost every department of Givi  Zhvania Academic Pediatric Clinic , but mostly in Gastroenterology department. For six month Professor Michael Lentze will deliver the lectures for Tbilisi State Medical University students, residents and doctors.
