From August 19 to October 18, 2013 the fifth year medical student Salome Gomelauri and the third year medical student Elene Tabukavshili did their medical internships in Schwäbisch Gmünd Clinic, Germany. The students were distributed in Internal Medicine and Orthopedics and Traumatology Departments.

During the internship students were attending the operations, medical consultations, were participating in a reception of out-patients, in-patients and emergency situations.

At the end of the internship, Director of the clinic, Professor Manfred Wiedemann positively evaluated the students’ clinical and language skills. Professor Wiedemann expressed his wish to continue TSMU students’ admission for medical internships to Schwäbisch Gmünd Clinic.
