On December 2, 2013 Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria met with Deputy Director of U.S. Humanitarian Bureau to Europe and Eurasia of US Department of State, John Fost.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Rima Beriashvili, Chancellor Zurab Orjonikidze, Deputy Head of International Relations Department Irina Kapetivadze, Deputy Head of Infrastructure Department Aleko Buachidze and Vice -President of the first American NGO in Georgia - ACTS GEORGIA Guram Emiridze.

After the meeting Mr. John Fost visited to Tbilisi State Medical University A. Aladashvili University Clinic, which infrastructure after one and half year intensive work was updated to modern standards.

At the end of the visit, both sides talked about the future plans and collaboration. Mr. John Fost said he would be willing to help the clinic with medical devices.
