On December 23 - 24, 2013 Member of SimPlant Academy and European Academy of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology (EADMFR), Consultant of KAVO Company (Ukraine), Professor Larissa Dakhno delivered the lectures for fourth and fifth year students, residents and medical staff in Dissertation Hall of Tbilisi State Medical University.

The event was opened by Head of TSMU Odontology Department, Professor Marina Mamaladze. Professor Mamaladze talked about Professor Dakhno’s wide experience.

The lectures were delivered about the following topics:

• “Psychological aspects of X-ray and rules of Cone Beam Computed Tomography”
• “Diagnosis and analysis of X-ray image”

Lectures by Professor Dakhno were very important while they were about recent technologies and innovations in stomatology such as dental X-ray Imaging and Computer Tomography. Mentioned imaging methods are priceless for the specialists working in Endodonty, Implantology and Maxillofacial Surgery.

TSMU Faculty of Stomatology has recently hosted many outstanding specialists, which has enriched experience of students and academic staff.

 At the end of the lectures the attendants were awarded by the certificates.
