On February 14 -15, 2014, International Education Exhibition- Fair was arranged at the Exhibition Center - "Expo Georgia".

There were represented: all accredited higher schools of Georgia, Foreign Universities, and exchange programs. Interest from prospective students and their parents was too high.

Crowding of people at the stand of Tbilisi State Medical University was obvious. Adults were acquainted with all nuances with great interest, watched the special clip reflecting studying process, interesting practical works performed on the simulations and medical equipment  at Tbilisi State Medical University.

For support in making the right decision, the future students were met with: Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria - Rector of TSMU, Prof. Kakhaber Chelidze -Vice-rector, Prof. Rima Beriashvili – Deputy Rector, Prof. Tinatin Chikovani – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Associate Prof. Bidzina Zurashvili - Dean of the faculty of Public Health, Associated Prof. Lela Masskhulia – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Prof.  Samson Mgebrishvili, Dean of the faculty of Stomatology, other TSMU academic personal and students. Bidzina Musashvili, employee of TSMU Center of Clinical Skills showed  to  future students the working rules with simulations, allowed them to try it themselves   – “examine the patient”, checking  heart beatings or  eye fundus on simulations.  As it turned out, a lot of young people are interested in medicine. Some are now choosing their professions and some are interested in master programs. According to the majority, TSMU does not need to be advertised, its traditions and time-tested teaching system is the most reliable for them. Medicine is the field needing in traditions and experiences together with the innovations constantly implementing by Tbilisi State Medical University.
