The teachers from   Harvard University, James Lee and Jae Choe are working in the field of neurorehabilitation.  In Georgia this field needs quite a lot of attention and development. Visiting specialists are teaching students with modern methods ranging from etiology to treatment and rehabilitation. It is important that they are practicing teachers with experience of working with students, and in a very reputable university. Neurorehabilitation takes 60% of patient's overall recovery. Thus, the theme is very necessary for students. It should be noted that students have already been given a lecture on the brain, spinal cord injuries and cerebral palsy. The next lecture will be on the stroke.

James Lee and Jae Choe will deliver lectures on the issues of neurorehabilitation for three weeks at TSMU, there will be practical lessons as well.  The first course is already being conducted the next is scheduled to start on April 22 and will last two weeks. The theme will be "pain management." This is an important issue, because the pain - this is the main reason the patient goes to the doctor. The teachers from   Harvard University requested the technical basis for conducting practical classes .  It is very pleased that the clinical center of physical medicine and rehabilitation was equipped with everything they needed for study process that really meets the requirements to conduct the course of practical lessons approved at Harvard University. According to assessment made by Associate Professor Lela Maskhulia, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and according to the IV year students of the same Faculty, it's extremely interesting lecture - practical course in terms of modern achievements  which is very important for professional growth,  without alternative in our reality.
