For the Tbilisi State Medical University public health care has never been left without attention. It always responded to charity event - offerings and within their frames and relying on the university clinical basis always provided assistance to the population.

On April 12, 2014, within the frame of memorandum made between Tbilisi State Medical University and the organization - “Georgian Dream - Healthy Future" the next charity event was held in Khashuri region, where participated the university staff and Physicians of  Givi Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic.

On the base of  local clinic - "Medical Park" physicians provided medical examinations for more than  100 – children from Khashuri and nearby villages. Children and their parents received professional consultations from the doctors: Alexander Berulashvili (Surgeon), Tamaz Gabunia (Stomatologist), Ana Chochia  (Neurologist), Marina Gagoshidze (Pediatrician), Ketevan Gogberashvili (Pediatrician), Irma Korinteli (Pediatrician), Nino Sanodze (Pediatrician), Mediko Gelashvili (Pediatrician), Mariam Pkhaladze (Endocrinologist), Nino Jankarashvili (Endocrinologist), Manana Kokilashvili (Ophthalmologist), Irina Kekelidze (Otorinolaringologist), Nino Kvedeliani (Maxilla-Facial Surgeon) and Anton Kekelidze (Otorinolaringologist). Exceptional cases were also recorded  for further reactions. On the base of these cases the letter to the local authorities was prepared and there were planned appropriate measures. According to the parents of children participating in medical examinations this charity event was of great importance for them, visit of such highly qualified doctors was necessary and beneficial for their children as  arriving in the capital and also paying  is problematic to many of them ...
