On April 24-26, 2014, the session of the Board of  European Academy of Teachers in General Practice / Family Medicine (EURACT) was held in Skopje (Macedonia). The session  was attended by Givi Javashvili, TSMU Associate Professor of Family Medicine, the member of European Academy of Teachers in General Practice / Family Medicine.

At the session were discussed organizational issues, the Board approved the new members of EURACT, including a new member from Georgian - Miranda Tiginashvili; from Georgia 25 members are already joined to the board. The next session of the board will be held on October 2-4,  2014, in Porto (Portugal).

For  the future, it was decided that, within the frames of EURACT-designed  training course cycles  - “Leonardo”,  next year (in October 2015), a renewed course will be held in Georgia.

It is expected that 3 teachers from Georgia who work in the medical field will be able to participate for free. This is a very important decision.
