On April 18-30, 2014, Full Professor Marina Mamaladze, Head of TSMU Department of Odontology and Associate Professor Natia Nizharadze participated in the International Conference organized by famous  Corporation Ultradent in  Salt - Lake - City (Utah, USA).

The Conference was dedicated to modern methods of teeth restorations and endodontic treatment. At the Conference the new composite veneer system – edelweiss was presented as well. It is a pleasure that Ultradent products for teeth whitening, restorations, endodontic treatment and oral cavity insulation are already familiar for our university students from the study courses.

They have the opportunity to use all of these products for treatment of patients at hands-on sessions. Consequently, a new approach to these issues and implementation of modern methods will contribute development and perfection of educational process. 

Within the frames of Conference the hands-on sessions were carried out, where all participants were given the possibility to perform new methods on the phantoms for simulation. The lectures and hands-on sessions were delivered by the well-known professionals: Den Fisher, Carlos Spironel and Hall Stuart.
