Course of Neurorehabilitation Guided by Professor James Lee and Physiotherapist Jae Choe

On 10.03 - 02.05, 2014 American Professor James Lee and physiotherapist Jae Choe delivered lectures and practical lessons on the issues of neurorehabilitation at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences at TSMU Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The topics of the lectures were chosen for the IV year students of TSMU Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and have interactive nature.

During the practical trainings in neurorehabilitation TSMU students under the supervision and guidance of American specialists with very considerable experience, along with theoretical knowledge have acquired the practical skills of physical examination, assessment, treatment with physical interventions and using modern methods of rehabilitation in the patients with neurological disorders.  Within the frames of hands-on sessions and with participation of the physicians of the Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and American specialists, demonstration and discussion of clinical cases associated with neurological disorders were carried out.

After completing the training course the exam-testing according to the covered material was held and the majority of students have successfully coped with. American specialists were satisfied with the training courses in terms of academic and organizational aspects. They expressed desire of  further cooperation.
