Professor Tina Chikovani Dean of TSMU  Faculty of Medicine, on April 26-29, 2014 participated in the VII World Asthma, Allergy and  COPD Forum,  XX International Congress of Rehabilitation in Medicine and Immunorehabilitation, organized by World Organization of Immunopathology in New York.

The Congress was attended by the leading specialists of Allergology and  Clinical Immunology from Great Britain, U.S., Israel, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria… Due to the actuality of this problem, all the reports presented at the Congress deserved a great attention.

On the second day of the Congress on  April 27, a poster session was moderated by Professor Tina Chikovani and on  April 29, she chaired the session of the symposium and had also report on  "Immune aging: the study of healthy elderly population." Her report deserved the great  interest of professionals. The report material was published  as an article in International Journal of Immunorehabilitation, 2014 (16) N1. p 28-32.

Small or great success achieved on the international level will be reflected on the educational process conducted at Tbilisi State Medical University, providing the basis for an optimistic prognosis.
