Tbilisi State Medical University at the Ceremony Devoted to May 26 - Independence Day

On May 26, 2014, all the departments, public schools, vocational and higher educational institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science were presented at the Ceremony Devoted to May 26 – the Independence Day

Tbilisi State Medical University presented its achievements in development of modern teaching methodologies and implementation of high -level tools. Professor ZurabVadachkoria Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Prof. Kakhaber Chelidze Vice - Rector, Prof. Irma Manjavidze Head of the Centre of Clinical Skills, Prof. Tina Chikovani Dean of the Faculty of Medicine,  Akaki Sepashvili technical manager of the Center, Dali Chitaishvili chief  specialist, KLjatuna Lomouri senior specialist, Bidzina Musashvili, and Zaza Mamulashvili Assistants, were explaining teaching process in details by using  the simulations; pathologies possible to be shown on the simulations, providing primary care, child delivery and so on … to the interested persons. 

 

Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia together with her daughter visited the tent organized by Tbilisi State Medical University. Minister was pleased with the materials presented by Tbilisi State Medical University and TSMU plans about which she talked with Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria -TSMU Rector…

The corner organized and presented by TSMU deserved great attention of the visitors.  At a ceremony marking the May 26 - Independence Day, citizens have the opportunity to be informed about every significant project implemented towards education. The event was presented with banners, brochures and visual presentations. After the ceremony devoted to May 26, Irakli Garibashvili,  Prime Minister of Georgia walked along Rustaveli Avenue together with his family.

Irakli Garibashvili, was introduced to the informational corners and entertainment programs in the tents specially designed by the Ministries.   The Prime Minister spoke to the people gathered in the streets and congratulate them on Independence Day.
