Tbilisi State Medical University pays great attention to the preparation of students for future scientific work and development of  their practical skills necessary for conducting  considerable and successful research activities.
On May 29-30, 2014, by initiative of the club "Vitalis" and support of I. Tarkhnishvili Students' Scientific Society and TSMU Center of Scientific Skills, a seminar on "Scientific Research Principles" was held providing  discussions on  all  details that must be highlighted by the researcher.

The interesting presentations were made by :  Luisa Gabunia Director of the Center of  scientific Skills, Senior Specialists of the Center: Shorena Khetsuriani and Natia Gamkrelidze. They talked about a variety of the issues associated with scientific research, scientific articles, abstracts, and modern approaches of grant writing; they answered students' questions.
At the end of the training, participants were handed the certificates.After the seminar the students noted that the information will help them in future medical activity as professional development has always been, is, and will be linked to seeking new information from the scientific bases, critical reading of scientific publications, analysis and research..
