From May 18 to July 18 2014, Lasha Mskhiladze, Head of Scientific-Research and Practical Skills Laboratory at the Faculty of Pharmacy and  Assistant Professor of Department of Botanic and Pharmacognosy of the Faculty of Pharmacy, was on the official visit to the University of Liege (Belgium), for conducting joint scientific-research at the Laboratory of Pharmacognosy of the Department of Pharmacy.

Georgian researcher  worked under the supervision of  Professor M. Rerikh. He has conducted the studies in the laboratories of pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, metastases and pharmacognosy at the University of Leuven. An interesting discussion was carried out around the obtained results, and there was expressed readiness for future cooperation and development of joint research projects with TSMU and Assistant Professor Lasha Mskhiladze.

According to conducted studies a scientific article have been prepared, which will be published in the international journal "Planeta Medica". According to Assistant Professor  Lasha Mskhiladze the achieved success is a result of the support provided by Tbilisi State Medical University due to which he expresses his appreciation and thankfulness to the university leadership.
