On August 8 - 10, 2014  18th Congress of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists was held in Beijing (China) where participated Maia Dgebuadze, M.D., Ph.D. Associate Professor of the Department of Normal Human Anatomy of Tbilisi State Medical University.

She presented her work on "Morpho-functional study of local, sex and age dependent features  of normal human renal blood vessels ".

The Congress, where all the issues concerning the teaching or scientific research activities of anatomy (from macroanatomy to molecular anatomy) are considered, is held once every 5 years. There was held exhibition and sale of teaching facilities as well.

The Congress was attended by the world-famous anatomists: Richard Drake, Bernard Moksha, Lynn Opperman and others.
