On September 18, 2014, Turkish guests: Iorhan Kembulat Polat, one of the founders of KORU hospitals, Mustafa Karakose, Medical Director, Kenan Yıldırım President of Turkish Businessmen's Association, together with Archil Morchiladze General Director of Medical Associations, Konstantin Chivchiuri, founder of “Via Vita” and Eka Zesashvili visited Tbilisi State Medical University.They were welcomed by Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU, Zurab Orjonikidze, Chancellor and Prof. Ia Avaliani, Head of International Affairs Department.

The guests listened with great interest the information about the Tbilisi State Medical University. They were impressed with international relationships developed by the University with partner universities and clinics. They expressed their willing on development of successful future collaboration between the TSMU and KORU hospitals and considered exchange programs for TSMU students, residents and academic staff.
