On November 27, 2014, Professor Levan Metreveli delivered the public lecture on "Health System Quality Control, Health Care Policy and Management" conference hall of the administration building of Tbilisi State Medical University.

The public lecture was organized by Iv.Tarkhnishvili Students' Scientific Society and TSMU students self-governance body. At the lecture, which was attended by the students of the Faculty of Public Health, Prof. Levan Metreveli discussed different interesting topics, namely: professional competence, access to medical services, productivity, efficiency, continuity, interpersonal attitude, creating comfortable conditions for patients and the staff. These themes were discussed on the background of international experience.

The lecture was also attended by Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Prof. Bidzina Zurashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Prof. Gaiane Simonia, Head of TSMU  Department of Medical Education, Research and Strategic Development and Prof. David Jincharadze, Director of Examinations and Skills Center.
