On February  13, 2015,  Elguja Khokrishvili, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia visited Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU). Minister met with Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, TSMU Rector; Zurab Orjonikidze, Chancellor, academic staff and students of TSMU.

The meeting was about the prospects that will follow the relationship developed between the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia and TSMU. Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia and the Tbilisi State Medical University. 

According to the Minister they already participated in implementation of  joint projects with our University, but after signing the memorandum, collaboration will be extended further. “Signing the Memorandum was a great honor for us and TSMU is ready to implement several joint projects, important and necessary for the country"- said Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU.
