On March 10 14 , 2015 at the behest of Walter Draxl, Director of Educational Center of the Western Austria, TILAK/AZW, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of TSMU visited Innsbruck (Austria). During this visit, the two sides discussed and specified the issues related to Georgian-Austrian program on nurse training, implementation of which at TSMU is planned  in  September, 2015. Mr.Walter Draxl showed   a new study building  of AZW to  Rector of TSMU.

They talked about the training of TSMU students in Innsbruck and on the issues concerning to the invitation of Austrian specialists in Tbilisi.

They also discussed the opportunities of postgraduate courses and professional development at the clinics of Austria for TSMU graduates. Working in this direction together with Director of AZW started a year ago. Mr. Walter Draxl still considers this issue relevant, however, he requested to postpone concrete discussion for several months due to the changes in Austrian health care system.

Mr. Walter Draxl promised to TSMU Rector to provide informative support  that will help to interest European students in English-medium  program of TSMU Faculty of Medicine .

During the visit Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria introduced Georgian-French Master Program to Austrian partners and handed the University brochures and English-version of the documentary film.
